Alright, where are all our Controllers at? Show yourselves! Well, it's that time again...it's time for the Airways and Air Communications Service (AACS) 30th Annual Reunion in Covington, Kentucky. Covington is right across the river from Cincinnati, so it's easy to get to. The event will be held at the Radisson Hotel Cincinnati Riverfront which is right on the river. From their announcement: "The hosts will be Bob Akard and Hank Sauer. Don Fuller and San Juan Romero who hail from the local area have signed up to assist in any way they can. The Theme for this convention/reunion will be the "Entertainment Convention/Reunion". There will be a significant German influence at this reunion due to the local German Community within walking distance of the Hotel and a Munich Hofbrauhaus (Thursday night dinning) about a 20 minute ride away. We have also planned a dinner cruise on one of the larger Riverboats on Friday evening." I feel like one jealous AMMO troop. Comms & ATC folks know how to set up a reunion! This reunion is for Communicators, Air Traffic Controllers & Support Fields of AACS, AFCS, AFCC, AFC4A, AFCA and/or AFFSA. Too many acronyms for me, but you people know who you are. For more details, contact Richard P. "Hank" Sauer at DirAACS@comcast.net or stop by the AACS website.
